We are very excited about the direction our club is headed. Membership is constantly growing and we are continuously looking for ways to involve our members. Whether it be a summer pool party, kids club, ladies night out, paint party, cotillion or member dinner, we truly have something for everyone. The heart of this club is our membership and it is our goal to ensure we provide a fun, safe and family-friendly environment that all are welcome.
Tucked away in the heart of Hertford County, Beechwood has been a part of our community since 1947. We welcome members and guests from all over the area to experience the richness and beauty our course and club offer. With our new management that is invested in making this club the best that it can be, we are focused not only on improving players' golf games, but family involvement and building a lasting camaraderie.
Our club has seen many changes throughout the years. Beechwood started as a member-owned club in 1947. Six members made up the first Board of Directors, elected June 3, 1947.

Throughout the years, several members served the club as President and board members. As time passed, country clubs began to experience serious financial strains making it difficult to proceed as member-owned. In 2014, the club was purchased by private owners who have invested much time, money and heart into continuing the legacy of Beechwood Country Club. Within the last year, our club has undergone some of the most noticeable and exciting changes yet. The clubhouse received a face lift with a bright white paint job. The ballroom experienced many needed cosmetic changes, an expanded deck was built onto the back, a brand new pool complex was introduced, a fitness studio has been added and locker rooms were remodeled. Perhaps one of the most exciting improvements made was the implementation of a driving range and short game practice facility! The front nine holes were completely redesigned. The driving range, short game practice facility and all 18 holes are now open for play!
